*World Cup in Kingdom

Yesterday, the 9th of JUNE, 'Long live HM the King.' 'We Love the one in yellow.' repeated all over Thailand at 60th anniversary of his being at the throne.
Coincidentally FIFA World cup opened in Germany, and I saw both of the news here in Thailand with frustration of not being able to see them in my own tongue.
（疲れたのでここからは母国語で）なにしろ帰国して日本のオフィスの息苦しさに慣れる間もなく、またもタイへ出張中。放送権の都合でW杯を見れるのはローカル局（タイ語）だけである。NHKは静止画ニュースとなる。。。NHKといえば、サラリーマンNEOのオープニングがFatboy Slimの元曲だったりそのパクリバージョンだったりするのはなぜなんだろう？。。。　
それはそうと、プミポン国王在位60周年の慶事にタイにいたりすると、交通事情が
大迷惑だったりする。月曜もパレードらしいが、日本vsオーストラリアに間に合うよう
に帰れるのかが気がかりだ。
